Firebase Academy, requires all applicants to submit certain documentation prior to any participation in
training.
The acceptance of any credential documents is at the sole discretion of Firebase Academy. The
applicant verifies that all credential documentation is true and correct to the best of their knowledge.
Firebase Academy reserves the right to deny training to anyone for any reason whatsoever. In the event
that an application is not accepted, all deposits will be refunded promptly and in full.
If you are a prospective applicant and this is your first class with Firebase Academy you may choose
from the categories below to enroll;
1. Documentation of no criminal history from a law enforcement agency.
Concealed Carry permit holders may submit this information as part of their credential process.
2. A copy of your current driver's license
3. Statement of good character.......from someone who can attest to your good character and
good standing in your community. Your employer, Bank Executive, Chief of Police or Sheriff.
(letters must be on company or city letterhead.....all others must be notarized.)
(letters from relatives, students of Firebase Academy, or employees of Firebase Academy
are un-acceptable.
4. Identification of current full-time active service with a public law enforcement agency or reserve
law enforcement service with accompanying documentation from appropriate agency head.
5. Identification of full time service in the United States Armed Forces or evidence of current reserve
Military status with written recommendation from the applicant's Commanding Officer
If you are a returning student, the above criteria is the same and must be up-dated every two years and
submitted to Firebase Academy.
