The handgun is the most likely available defensive tool should a
confrontation arise. Therefore, one should be competent and confident
in the application of defending yourself with the handgun. Our handgun
courses stress important fundamentals of safety, marksmanship,
manipulation, movement, verbal skills, use of cover and the attendant
mental skills necessary in defensive preparedness.

This course is a brief refresher of Defensive Handgun 1 and quickly
moves to the introduction of more advanced tactical issues germane to
the use of team tactical concepts and other priority skills of Defensive
Handgun 2, including diminished light shooting, injury skill drills and
tactical issues pertaining to building searches, when appropriate
facilities are available.
