A classic course exploring the tactical application of "Real
American Fightin Iron." Sometimes forgotten and thought to be too
old in today's sophisticated arsenal of semi-automatic pistols.
Well, we haven't forgotten it here at Firebase Academy, nor do be
believe it too old and we positively know that you can depend on it
as many have in tactical arenas from Tombstone to Viet Nam.
Defensive Revolver begins with the operators understanding of
the particular techniques that make it unique. Fundamentals of a
proper firing grip, support hand placement, trigger finger
placement and other manipulative skills are addressed in detail.
Loading the revolver from various devices, beltloops, speed-strips
and even from the pocket are covered. Various modifications that
enhance the revolvers shootability and performance are
discussed during the training evolutions. Many of these
enhancements to the revolver have been discovered during our
personal three decades of operating with this formidable fighting
tool.
